TONGAN LANGUAGE WEEK

On friday Kea and Piwakawaka hosted an assembly for Tongan Language week. The assembley was held at the Lola tawahi hall. The tongan boys were about to perform on the floor while the girls performed on the stage. But first the takahe boys were about to perform a Sipi Tau. After the Sipi Tau was done it was time for the senior boys and girls to show their performance. So the mcs for the assembly then told them to stand. After they stood up they started to perform their dances. After the boys performance the takahe and senior girls were about to perform an individual dance. After their dances we moved on to the normal assembly stuff like the school song.

Then it was time for speeches the first person that was going up to say a speech was rachel then me and lastly was Tehillah. After the speeches were done it was time for sharing. The takahe team came up to share their song. The assembly was so long My legs was about to collapse while standing up. Finally after so long Sione came up to say the closing prayer and also led a tongan song. Then the mcs told the teachers to take their classes and go to their hubs to the food waiting for them.

Mysterious Girl

Zoom! Out of nowhere a flash of light zoomed across my eyes. It was so fast it blinded me for about 5 seconds. Then I managed to see what the mysterious  thing was. It was like it was made out of a rainbow. Then this mysterious thing exploded down a wall like it was snapping a stick in half.

My jaw dropped to the floor as the mysterious girl flew as fast as a plane. My eyes were filled with some kind of powerful magic. The mighty beast were as a fast as a Cheetah, as heroic as Superman, and as agile as Flash. The speed of her running were as if I saw Usain bolt run a full 100 metres. Then as I saw blinked she flashed out of my sight  to protect an old lady crossing the road. The velocity of her speed was so controlled she could run anywhere without crashing into a single thing.

She was so powerful I could see her forming an invincible shield. But she didn’t use her powers for her own good. She used her powers to protect and defend other people. As I stood there with extraordinary she accelerated her speed to a certain point that we couldn’t even see her. The swiftness, strength, smartness, powerfulness, it made her the perfect hero. But then I heard a familiar noise it was my alarm clock it was all a dream.  

THE DOORWAY

I was running for my life as my friends Genashua and Dagi chased me from the netball courts and all around the whole school. Then out of nowhere, I heard the loudest lightning strike I’d ever heard. It was so loud it made my hunters fall to their knees covering their ears in pain. 

Then with the massive opportunity, I ran as fast as I could, putting almost a 200 meter gap between us. I then ran towards the lightning that just struck, hoping for a miracle. As I reached  the lightning my jaw dropped to the ground as I saw three different doors appear in the ground. The first door I saw was the middle door and the second door to the left side of it was the same door.I then scanned around all of the doors noticing that all the doors were made out of the same product.

They were all made out of wood and their handles were made out of bronze. I then looked back at the hunters who were right behind me and I rushed into the first door. I then took my first step and realized that it was a room full of hungry lions ready to prey on me. So as soon as I made eye contact with the lions I ran as fast as I could, trying to get out. Unfortunately the door was locked, so I ran to the lions accepting defeat but to my surprise they did not eat me instead they wanted me to scratch their bellies. I then found a key and unlocked the door to the hunters.They then tagged me and I became one of them.

SENTENCE STARTERS

Hello and thank you for turning to channel 9 news 8. Today we are bringing you a live video of a villian named Dare Devil and it apears that he is robbing a bank in the Auckland City. He uses his powers to smash down the steel door that was protecting all the money in the bank. Then by using his flying powers he flew across the room to the accountant telling him to unlock the bank vault. Without a single moment of hesitation the accountant unlocked the vault and ran out of the bank building with his pants drenched with pee.

Then just before Dare Devil could even look at the money the hero SHAZAM came out of nowhere and zapped him out of the bank with nothing but his pinky. The monster Dare Devil was not gonna let that slide  so he got up and charged head first to Shazam. But it was no where near enough to defeat Shazam. He then put both hands behind his back and Shazam let out a devastating lightning hit and it blew up Dare Devil to DUST. Thats how Shazam defeated the MONSTER DARE DEVIL.

SENSES

Sight:I saw people on the roof screaming for help as the house beneath them was burning up in flames.

Smell:I ran out of breath as the smoke flooded the house around me.

Taste:I tasted something salty and fiery as my sweat dropped down my face.

Touch: I touched the wall and it fell down in an instant, like it was made out of dust.

Hearing:I heard a person screaming for help like their skin was burning.
